Lyman Hayes House

Lyman Hayes moved to town in 1895 and opened a blacksmith shop. The Journal Opinion of 1895 claims his shop was burned down after he warned two lovers that he would report their adulterous affair. The second floor was added in 1875. Today the Lyman Hayes house has been turned into apartment buildings.
