Red Barn

This lot was originally the property of William Marston and then became the home of Dr. Kimball, Orford’s first physician. It was eventually owned by William Howard Jr. and burned in 1862. Only the barn survived. This red barn may have been built during Dr. Kimball’s ownership and has been converted to a house. A granite hitching post marks the spot of the original house.
