| One of Daniel Frye Tillotson’s enterprises was the creamery and cheese factory which produced thirty tons of cheese per year. The Cheese and Butter Manufacturing Company operated as a cooperative, however disagreement among its members made it a short-lived coop. The cheese factory was moved to Fairlee, Vermont, where it served as the Opera House before being destroyed by fire. The creamery foundation can still can be seen in this area. | ![]() |
